Standing Firm

1 Corinthians 15:58 says, “Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” These words offer strength for weary hearts.

Imagine a farmer planting seeds in early spring. The ground is cold, and nothing can be seen above the soil. Days pass, then weeks. It may seem like nothing is happening. Yet beneath the surface, life is quietly growing.

Our faith can feel the same way. We pray, serve, give, and try to live faithfully, but we do not always see results right away. We may wonder if our efforts matter. Doubt can whisper that our work is pointless.

This verse reminds us to stand firm. Like the farmer who trusts the process, we trust that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Every act of kindness, every prayer, and every faithful step has purpose in His hands.

1 Corinthians 15:58 encourages us not to give up. What we do for the Lord is never wasted. In time, growth will come. Until then, we remain steady, rooted in hope, confident that God sees and values every faithful effort.
