1 Corinthians 16:14 says, “Let all that you do be done with love.” In this short but powerful verse, Paul reminds believers that love should guide every action. Not just some things, but everything we say and do should flow from a heart shaped by God’s love.
A father once came home tired after a long day at work. His young son ran to him, eager to play. At first, the father felt annoyed and ready to rest. But then he paused and chose to respond with patience and kindness. That simple choice turned a stressful evening into a sweet memory.
In our daily lives, we face moments like that. We can react with frustration, pride, or selfishness. Or we can choose love. Love changes the tone of our words, the way we treat strangers, and how we respond when we are hurt.
Doing everything with love does not mean we are always soft or never correct others. It means our motives are pure. We speak truth, but we do it with care and respect.
1 Corinthians 16:14 invites us to make love our starting point. When love leads our actions, we reflect the heart of Christ to the world around us.
