Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” These words speak to anyone who feels tired of trying.
Imagine a teacher who pours her heart into her students every day. Some listen closely, while others seem distracted or uninterested. There are moments when she wonders if her effort truly matters.
Day after day, she continues to show patience, kindness, and care. She helps with lessons, encourages small victories, and listens to quiet worries. She may not see immediate results, but seeds are being planted.
Galatians 6:9 reminds us that good work often takes time. A farmer does not expect a harvest the day after planting. Growth happens slowly, beneath the surface. In the same way, our acts of love and faithfulness may not show quick results.
This verse encourages perseverance. When we choose to keep doing good, even when we feel unnoticed, we trust that God sees. In His time, there will be a harvest. We may not know when, but we can remain faithful, confident that our effort in Him is never wasted.
