Not Ashamed

Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” These words were written with boldness and confidence.

Imagine a young man who has discovered something life-changing. At first, he keeps it to himself, unsure how others will respond. He worries about being misunderstood or laughed at. But the more he sees how it has changed his life, the harder it becomes to stay silent.

The gospel is the good news of what God has done through Jesus. It speaks of forgiveness, grace, and new life. To some, it may seem simple or even foolish. Yet to those who believe, it carries transforming power.

Romans 1:16 reminds us that the message of Christ is not weak. It has the power to heal broken hearts, restore hope, and change direction. It reaches people from every background and every story.

When we truly understand this good news, shame begins to fade. Gratitude takes its place. Like the young man who cannot keep quiet, we share what we have experienced. The gospel is not something to hide. It is a gift meant to be lived and spoken with courage.
